Stage II Fire Restrictions: Building, maintaining, attending or using a fire, campfire, charcoal, coal, or wood stove is prohibited. The use of devices fueled solely by liquid petroleum or LPG fuels that can be turned on and off is allowed. Such devices can only be used in an area that is barren or cleared of all overhead and surrounding flammable materials within three (3) feet of the device. Smoking is prohibited, except within an enclosed vehicle or building.

Attention: The vault toilets will be closed for renovation over the next month in Bert Clancy and Terrero campgrounds. There will be port-a-potties available for use, and we will have the improved vault toilets opened as soon as we can. There will also be some road maintenance occurring throughout the park over the next couple of months. Most of this work will happen on weekdays, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but better roads will be the result for future visits. We thank you for your patience during this construction.

Attention: Dispersed camping is not allowed with-In Pecos Canyon State Park. You must remain within the boundaries of your reserved campsite. Please contact Park Staff if there is a need to move.
