Policies/Business Rules

Length of Stay

From October 1 through April 30 campers may reside in a park for a maximum of 14 calendar days during any 20-calendar day period. From May 1 through September 30 campers may reside in a park for a maximum of seven calendar days during any 20-calendar day period. Campers shall completely remove camping equipment and gear from the park after reaching the maximum stay limit.

Booking Window

Campers may reserve 6 months in advance of the current day.

Vehicles Per Site

One sleeping unit and one other vehicle are allowed per site (space permitting). A motor home towing a vehicle or a vehicle towing a camping trailer is considered one sleeping unit. Extra vehicles, aside from the sleeping unit, including motorcycles, will be charged $10 per night per vehicle collected at the park.

Pet Policy

Campers with pets are responsible for control of their pets. Pet owners must pick-up after their pets and maintain the area in a clean, sanitary condition. Pets must be on leashes not more than 10 feet in length. Owners must prevent their pets from excessive barking, howling and loud noises.

Owners must prevent their pets from biting or attacking any persons or destroying any property. Pets must not be left unattended in vehicles or campsites.

Camping Discounts

Annual camping permits for Resident or Non-Resident authorize the vehicle owner or individual to access and use the park at no additional charge except for utility hookups. The annual camping permit allows the visitor one sleeping unit. A motor home towing a vehicle or a vehicle towing a camping trailer is considered a sleeping unit. The visitor shall pay the per night camping fee for additional vehicles. Also, any reservation fees or cancellation fees must still be paid.

Visitors may use annual day use passes at all parks, except at the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens state park and Smokey Bear historical park.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made up to the day of scheduled arrival will incur a $5 cancellation fee for each night of the reservation cancelled. In addition, all reservation fees are non-refundable.

Cancellations made on the day of scheduled arrival will incur the $5 cancellation fee for each night of the reservation cancelled plus the cost of the first night of your reservation.

Cancellations made after the day of scheduled arrival will not receive a refund
