Find a Campground by Using Maps

Using a map to find a park or recreational facility can greatly simplify your search. At the ReserveAmerica home page, click on Campgrounds by Map on the main menu toolbar.  

After signing in (Not a member? Click for info.), click anywhere within the state of your choice. In this example, we'll look at South Carolina.  

You can drill-down into a map and get detailed information about the area surrounding a facility. You can take a look at the roads, cities towns or other significant landmarks and if you have a preference to camp nearby, select it from the landmark drop-down list.  While on the Map Browse screen, you can:

• Scroll around the map by clicking the arrows or click and drag the map to the desired location and the campsites will appear.  

• Click on a balloon at a location within the selected area and view the details.

• Click on a location to book a reservation or tour.

• Zoom In or Zoom Out to view a more- or less-detailed view of the selected area.
