Find a Day Use Pass

Description

The Park is located on the Rio Grande near Las Cruces and 1.5 miles from historic Mesilla. Visitors have many opportunities to view wildlife in natural surroundings while strolling one of the self-guided nature trails or enjoy a fun Ranger-led tour!

Recreation:

Education Programs: We house the Bosque Ecosystem Monitoring Site (BEMP) student/scientist site through a partnership with the Bosque School in Albuquerque. Picnicking. Trails: Accompanied with a self-guided trail booklet for visitors to enjoy. 2.3 miles, Hiking, Interpretive Trails, Accessible Trails. Wildlife Viewing: Birding. Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park is an Audobon designated Important Birding Area and we are a recent addition to the Statewide Birding Trail as stop number 43.

Day Passes - Important Information

Day Use Pass Entrance Permits should be printed and placed on your dashboard so that it is visible to Park Rangers at all times. Failure to display the permit could result in a citation. If you are unable to print your permit, please proceed immediately to a self-pay station in the park and follow the instructions found there for filling out a Self Pay Permit.
